Paul Everall

Service Delivery Manager PBS
Paul Everall, Team Lead PBS - North & Remote at Yesability.

I am a qualified social worker who has had a career background in working with children and young people in residential and foster care settings in the non-government sector. I have also worked with the Department of Communities.

These roles have provided me with opportunities to work alongside children and young people, understand their needs and concerns, and partner with others in this work. I have also had opportunities to oversee clinical practice, lead and supervise teams, contribute to organisational growth and change and participate in sector-wide working groups and advisory committees. I am new to the NDIS sector and have worked as a Behavioural Support Practitioner at YesAbility for 12 months.

I am seeking to build my understanding of the NDIS sector, to work effectively in my role to assist in enhancing the well-being, safety, achievement, and dignity of those I am working with. I want to make a positive contribution to teamwork with our participants and to contribute to a growing and strong team and organisational culture at YesAbility.

Recognising and respecting clients’ uniqueness, strengths, and challenges and seeking to work alongside them in a respectful, open and caring manner is a strong motivation for me. Being part of a team that assists in our clients’ achieving their life goals and aspirations is a great privilege, responsibility and a strong commitment for me.

I’m at the latter end of my career! But I still have so much to learn and to grow, particularly in this role. I want to continue to develop my knowledge and skills and continue to make a positive difference for those I work with. I want to be a positive and committed team member and support my colleagues in the work we do.
