Occupational Therapist FT/PT

The Role

YesAbility is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team in our Osborne Park office. We provide a supportive environment cantered on comprehensive, evidence-based care. Our organization offers flexible work arrangements, including full-time or part-time positions tailored to suit qualified candidates. We offer full clinical support, monthly in-service training, on the job training and generous CPD allowance are provided with the position.

YesAbility specializes in delivering Expert Therapy Services directly to the community, schools, and various other departments. Our services encompass Positive Behaviour Support, Occupational Therapy, Early Intervention Psychology, Counselling, and Sexology Counselling.

Occupational Therapists within our team help individuals overcome limitations stemming from injury, illness, psychological or emotional challenges, developmental delays, or aging-related effects. They empower individuals to transition from dependence to independence while enhancing productivity, well-being, and overall quality of life.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) or Bachelor/ Master of Occupational Therapy
• Current Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and procedures impacting the delivery of services to people with a disability.
• Current Worker Screening
• New Worker – NDIS Induction Module
• 2+ years experience in a similar role (Preferably with NDIS participants)
• Experience writing assessments and reports to monitor participant progress
• Demonstrated ability to manage a caseload efficiently and effectively.
• Experience delivering therapy services to children, young people and adults is desired.
• Home modification experience desired but not necessary
• Comply with legal and certification requirements at all times
